Part-Time Field Maintenance & Athletic Field Prep

Position: Part-Time Field Maintenance & Athletic Field Prep Wage: $15/hour Hours: Maximum of 30 hours per week, approximately 20 hours per week. Must be available to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate weather delays as needed. Time Frame: March 24, 2025 – November 1, 2025 Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Field Maintenance & Athletic Field Prep Worker. This role is essential in ensuring our athletic fields and recreational spaces are safe, clean, and well maintained for community use. Responsibilities: • Perform routine mowing of athletic fields and surrounding areas. • Prepare athletic fields for practices, games, and special events, including lining fields, setting bases, and maintaining playing surfaces. • Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and field marking tools. • Assist with general groundskeeping tasks, including trash removal, minor landscaping, and field repairs. • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for players, spectators, and staff. • Transport recreation equipment to various site locations at the start of shift as needed. Qualifications: • Ability to operate lawn care and field maintenance equipment (training provided if needed). • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high field standards. • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. • Must be available for some weekend hours based on field schedules. • Be able to lift 50 pounds to a height of 48” • Be able to handle various outside weather conditions.
